Corowa 2022 - Year of the Jeep and Year of the RAAF

Just thought you would like an update on our Corowa event for 2022. KVE is holding an AGM via Zoom on 27th June 2021. We all missed not going to Corowa this year and we hope things will be improving over the next 9 months. The only event we participated in during 2020 after Corowa was the Clarence Town Swim-In.

We have attended a few events this year starting with the Gundagai Tractor Pull and Swap Meet, then the Hunter Valley Airshow, Sofala ANZAC Day commemoration and in May we had a great display at East Kurrajong for a Hobby and Motor Show. It has been great catching up with our military vehicle friends and we have seen how other organisations are successfully holding events.

Shortly we will be sending in an application for a grant from the Federation Council. Trips which we had planned for 2021 will go ahead in 2022. Our next KVE News will go out next month and we always look forward to any stories our participants would like to share.

Ball Park Caravan Park update

Up until 2 years ago Sonia and Andrew Palmer managed Ball Park Caravan Park for many years. The good news is that they are back managing the Caravan Park again. They really understood how our event has expanded over the years and we were always able to negotiate with them. For those people who may have changed accommodation locations for the past couple of years KVE encourages you to come back to Ball Park. There is a new swimming pool and the grounds have gradually been upgraded over the past couple of years and these improvements meant that there are more sites for camping. Eventually the plan includes more cabins.

Hi Jan, will the entry forms and payment from this years cancelled event still carry over to next year?

Would you rather have a new entry form to confirm we are still planning to be there in 2022?

Thanks
Glen

Hi Glen,
This is Richard, I collate all the entries as Jan receives them. I can confirm your entry (LP2A Carrier) is on the 2022 entry list and you do not have to resend the form or payment. We look forward to seeing you next year!

regards, Richard

Hoping it will be on.

Thanks for replying Richard. Anyone who has paid membership to KVE is not due to repay until 2022-2023. We welcome new members and hope the next event will take place.
Stay safe.

It appears that the NSW COVID Roadmap has changed today. The Committee of KVE welcome anyone to the event. Vaccination status is not important if you are a participant however there may be some venues which do require people to show their vaccination status. Please make sure you send in your Entry Forms and preferably by email if possible as I will be away and can register people easier if i receive their forms on email. The email is: kveinc@optusnet.com.au. You are also welcome to give me a call if you have any questions. By pre-registering this enables our site office volunteers to be able to quickly find your participant pack.

Hi Mark,
That is an error, it should read XT600, which was an Australian Army motorcycle.

regards, Richard

Mark Robinson 30-03-22 00:41

That gets better results XT 600 Australia 🇦🇺 military 👍
