C15TA Register?

Good Evening,

I am trying to find out how many C15TA's there are left around the world, so if you have one or know of one in a museum or privately owned can you list it here.

Many thanks in advance
James :salute:

Hi Mike,
the plate is from Dirk L. (LWD parts) Not sure if he has more, you need to ask him.

Does the list include Andre in Quebec's example? I haven't seen him in two or three years, so I don't know his progress.

Barry Churcher 17-02-14 15:47

Hi Terry
I haven't been to see Andre's truck for a year but it is my understanding that it's done. Hopefully he will be at the OMVA show in March and I can get some updated photos to post. Andre doesn't do email much, he is too busy with his restorations.
Cheers,
Barry

Hi Guys
Andre's truck is finished, amazing job if I might add. I spoke to him just before Christmas and as far as I know he will be down next month. I'll be speaking with him soon so if that changes I will post it.

James,

The first ex-Greek Army survivor belongs now to a private collection, waiting restoration... (for how long? )

The second survivor belongs to the Tank Museum of the Greek Army's Tank Training Center, located north of Athens. Sits under the trees in open weather and in poor condition..
I'm ashamed for that and I can't show you more photos :(

I am helping our very famous surviving panzers creator with the C15TA and armored command vehicles, can everyone check the list and see if there are any other vehicles we are missing or have on updates..

Please see the link and let me know of any additions or subtractions.

Mine has not been updated yet.

And sometime after that, with the demise of geocities, I moved that (and other) web pages to my own domain at http://www.mapleleafup.nl/cmpvehicles/c15ta_reg.html

Andre passed away a year ago. Does anyone know what happened to his collection?

Only pictures missing from the current URL http://www.mapleleafup.nl/cmpvehicles/c15ta_reg.html are the ones that linked to the old mapleleafup.org domain (which also moved) and can now be found on http://www.mapleleafup.net/vehicles/...our/c15ta.html.

As for a missing picture of Leegwater's C15TA, ask Barry Churcher, he owns it now.

Other entries have a caption [picture currently not available], will see if I can get pictures.

HTH,
Hanno

This C15TA was sold from a private collection in Belgium to the UK.

In 2008 it was offered for sale by R&R Motor Services in the UK.
Attachment 114027 Attachment 114028 Attachment 114029

In 2009 it was spotted in the "Central Museum of the Second World War, Poklonnaya Gora, Moscow", apparently owned by the Lehn collection. They had it for sale on their website lehn.ru in 2009.

Attachment 114030 Attachment 114031

Did it sell or do they still have it?

PS: Yuri Pasholok has 415 photos of this C15TA on his website: http://svsm.org/gallery/chevrolet_c15ta
