Someone on here must have a 25-pdr cartridge case or two lying about the place. Could someone please provide me with some reasonably exact measurements of a 25-pdr cartridge case, please?

(1) overall length 11.5 inches
(2) overall diameter across base (including rim) 4.122 inches
(3) Primer pocket/primer diameter 1.4060 inside diameter
(4) diameter of cartridge cylinder at base above rim (ie diameter not including rim) 0.1315 inches less than rim OD. My calipers are not deep enough to measure.
(5) width/depth of the rim 0.1550, .2665 (there is a small step).
(6) outside diameter of mouth (3.45-inches + brass thickness x2?) 3.5625 inches. brass is 0.030 inches thick.

I can probably send you a few snaps if you need or want them.

Would really appreciate some assistance with this, please, as I cannot do some scale drawings without the data. I've scanned the manuals but these only seem to provide dimensional data for projectiles, not the cart case. :bang:
