While doing some research, I came across the HyperWar website. It consists primarily of official documents produced by various agencies of the United States, United Kingdom and British Commonwealth governments. It's webpage listing sources published by the latter can be found here: http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/UN/Canada/ with sections on the Army, Navy, Air Force and even Medical Services.
I am doing some reading up on the Battle of the Scheldt in Volume III of The Victory Campaign: The Operations in North-West Europe, 1944-1945 by Colonel C.P. Stacey, which can be found here: http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/UN/C...ory/index.html HTH, Hanno Attachment 97159 |

Lots of reading material on this site: http://tothosewhoserved.org/can/
"Official History of the Canadian Army in the Second World War: 1. Six Years of War 2. The Canadians in Italy 1943–1945 3. The Victory Campaign – Operations in North-West Europe 1944–1945" Attachment 104820 |
It's nice to see this book available. 30 years ago the Victory Campaign was almost unobtainable. The other two could be had and when I finally got one to complete my set...it was in French.
