The carrier

Would you be able to find the E-bay listing or item number for the carrier? I think, given he other vehicles you mention, I once owned it and sold it many years ago. I'd be curious to see the pictures to find out what became of the beast.

Greetings Bruce,

The carrier sold privately off of ebay--was not listed. I think that most of these vehicles will sell off the ebay listing. I found this out after I phoned about the dingo.

Dingo

Regarding the dingo that was for sale earlier at E-bay.

It was advertised as a Mk1 from 1940.
Having send the seller an e-mail with the request for more info
there was little what could be told.

Judging from the two pictures that were giving at the description this wasn't a Mk1 and it was missing some parts and armour.
Still curious what the serial number is ......

Like the other vehicles that are for sale it was not cheap.

Humber

Unfortunately , the general public are being taken for fools again .
( I suspect the ad is intended for the U.S. market as most Americans would not have a clue what the vehicle actually is , and are more likley to be taken for a ride .)

It is a Humber Box . Exceptionally rare , well that depends on where you live . These Humbers come up for sale in the U.K. now and then on a regular basis . With around 12, 000 built in variants like the FFW pickup, Ambulance , and the chassis was used for the LRC , is that rare ?

The sellers state the these were used by all allied armies , I don't think so .

A club member here is restoring one , and NZ has a few as well .

For 35 U.S. K dollars , you could buy a lot of toys , in the right place .

Mike
