MLU on a smartphone
Just a question:
I can read all threads and posts fine via my phone but I cannot reply to any. I can get the reply to thread page up on my phone but the reply box remains a dark grey colour which prevents many typing/editing functions and that's where the problem is. Do you think this is a limitation with the phone or with MLU? Has anybody else found this? ryan |
Hi Ryan, just replying to you via my iPhone and all seems fine. Think this is the first time I have replied on MLU with a mobile. Regards Richard

hmm, thanks richard, seems it may be my phone. It is a 2yr old Nokia N8.

Alex ya cheeky bugger.
My phone plan has just expired in the last few days actually so I'm due for a new one. Can't say I'm keen to jump on the iPhone bandwagon though. My last two have been Nokia phones and they have good to me. |

Hi Richard,
Nokia now is running a windows based OS on their phones which scares me a little, we all know windows can be a little unkind sometimes. I'm haven't seen the lastest iphone in the flesh yet. My old Nokia had an 8mp camera and HD video which I want my new phone to have as well. |
All good now.
Still have my old Nokia but can now reply via it. I changed the message editor back from the full version to the basic enhanced type. This was done through the User CP, settings and option.

I've been bugging Hano to allow the Tapatalk App (http://www.tapatalk.com) for this forum, as frankly, this is the only forum left that I routinely visit that doesn't allow it (and the amount I visit the site lately reflects it).
Tapatalk makes iPhone/iPad and Android use of the forum almost easier than with a computer, plus it hosts photos.... Bonus, is that it is free for the site host to install. I'm the one who pays for the service. I digress....... Scotty |
