Does anyone know if any trials or usage of the M677 Jeep by Canada at anytime anywhere?

Picture from the web as illustration, this is a double cab although single cabs were also made

Hullllllooooooooo?

The blackout drive and marker lights on the vehicle pictured are the only military-like features I see.

In the 1950s and 60s, the Dodge 3/4 ton ruled the show. Any Jeep truck would have had to superly better at all the legendary aspects of the Three-Quad.

USAF used them

Primarily for getting flight crews and kits to respective plane. Really a weird little thing.

Only seen them in blue in Butler , Jeep town Pennsylvania they had a whole bunch of them.....none had engines...... they apparently were manufactured with 3 cyl diesel engines which had all been removed / salvaged to power up milking parlors for the Menonites farm.

Good luck finding some in Canada.

Terry the basic vehicle shape was all that i was illustrating, they were used / trialled in the US quite heavily.

Bob, yes they are an oddity for sure, there was one alongside the highway to Shawville for many years, around Luskville.

If you don't ask you will never know, that is my modus operandi.
