Aerial Gear Bags
Hi All, Newbie here with a question. I took those bags on part trade for a rifle. The guy who had them says they are highly collectible. My question is, are they really collectible or not. Sorry about the sideways pic, that's the way it went from photobucket
Thanks in advance for any answers. http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/...psiaudet2p.jpg |

Hi Gerard
Sorry, but I know little about your bags but you could bring them here: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=27040 You should get some answers. regards Darrell |
Value wise... IMO - around 100 to 150 GBP each - filled with all the kit and the aerial mast... empty perhaps you might get 20 to 40 GBP.. Unless I have just been very lucky to date.
Though there has been a chap on ebay trying to sell one for £450 empty and has not had any luck over the last 6 months at least. Tim |
required kit for 2K1 radio van took awhile to find mine they add value in time :no4:
|
I bought one of the bigger ones for around $150 with most of the stuff with it, but not the mast. That was another $100 but it was a few years ago now.

One layout of what your bag would hold with the exception of the telescoping masts. There are also canvas and webbing versions of the bag.
|
Would not come with the spikes base or mounting mast kit or hammers
|
Mine came with the spikes but not the vehicle mounting kit.
|
my antenna rods came with their own case, the spikes and matching base would destroy the leather case. weigh one spike and matching base and the volume does not make sense to carry or store in the leather case. one needs 2 sets of mast mounting hardware. 34 ft mast and 20 ft mast and no I never worked for CNN :drunk:
