A23 T.C. (Cadre) Halifax, NS ??

Sorting through WW2 records today... I came across that a soldier was TOS with "A23 T.C. (Cadre)" in Halifax, NS... anyone have any clues what this unit was? He was only on strength for about 20 days.

Hi Jason;

So 'Cadre' appears to be code for Coastal and Anti-Aircraft Artillery...?

No, 'Cadre' means that the soldier in question was 'on staff' or on the 'permanent establishment' of the training centre and not under going training.

Cheers
