Snowmobile Again
Have been looking at the past threads on this machine as part of my research for UC Vol2 and discovered that several folk may also have been researching this vehicle. I know Clive has published something on it but have the others? David, Hanno, Colin? If you haven't and would like to submit your research/photos/information etc., I would be happy to include it in amongst the chapter I have on the Snowmobile in Vol2. Deadline for copy is fast approaching so please pm me if you are interested in sharing the info. Have turned up some great wartime photos and details on these machines.
Anyone found one for me to restore? Nigel |

All my research on this subject is available on this forum - here for example - and on my web page on the subject. This has triggered at least one publication being prepared (by Clive), and it may be (re)used by any author for the measly sum of one copy of the finished book :D HTH, Hanno |

Book a holiday to Turkey. Only when you´re there settle your wife on the beach with a good book or similar and tell here you´re off to have a look at the antiquities near Amasya ;) HTH, Hanno |
Hi Nigel,
I can send you all of my sno-mo images and you can pick and choose to your heart's content. Don Dingwall is the author of this booklet but I know that he has other projects on the go and, by the time he is ready to start this one, I will have other images. Clive |
Armoured Snowmobile
Here is a photograph from the Mapping and Charting Establishment archives during their survey work in the arctic. The photograph was taken in 1946.
