Anything interesting in Warrnambool?

This one is for the Aussies. I'm heading down to Warrnambool this weekend and probably staying the night. Now while Raylene will be playing with goats and drum carders I wouldn't mind havin' a geez at some heavy metal.
Does anybody know of anything military related down that way?
I haven't been down that way since I was a kid. And back then I was too busy looking for Star Wars figures.
:D

Not at Warrnambool but there is a Carrier at Cobden and a bunch of Aircraft that i have heard about , one of the guys at the glenormiston north auction was from down that way too and he said he had a couple of Blitzs but i dont have any definate addresses for you to try . Salesman Bob has probably already picked the area over seeing as its close to the Border .

Warrnambool

By the response to this thread, rynoki, you'd have to say...
"No! There is nothing of interest at Warrnambool!"

Actually Howard, I heard that the response here has been minimal because everybody's up at Warrnambool as we speak... something about the discovery of a vast new, previously-unknown motherlode of 12-cab Blitzs that Highwayman Bob missed? Apparently they were just giving them away... ah well, no worries. I'm sure someone will tell you something, sometime...?

Trip cancelled

So it looks like I saved myself from being bored.
Unfortunately I did that by losing my hearing in my right ear. Nothing too dramatic though, just a build up of wax. I won't be following the lead of our new PM by eating it though.:ergh:
So I've had a pretty annoying day of being quite dizzy as it has upset my balance. Possibly the use of hearing protection ( earplugs ) at work has lead to it being this bad. Will be back at the docs again monday after it has loosened up from some ear drops.

Sorry to put you off your food.
