Mis-matched Caption

I came across a picture in the US LOC archives that says it shows US Lend Lease vehicles in Australia, 1942/43. I know that the trucks on the rail flats aren't US - but they don't look like the CMPs that I'm familiar with - the cabs seem too short. Plus the berets look out of place. Might anyone have some thoughts?

Patter 12 Ford
They appear to be Australian Ford Pattern 12 in the center, Ford because of the shape of the air duct on the sides of the radiator. Australian assembled because of the tool box design behind the cab. OK you guys from Down Under now fill in the details.

Re: Patter 12 Ford
What more is there to say...Aussie Cab 12 Fords. Cab looks wrong because of the angle the photo was taken at. Armoured Corp used the beret :)

Thanks for the clarification!
