More from Bendigo

These are some more from Brendon near Bendigo who is rationalising his collection.

I notice the F15 sold last night for $250 to someone called "ww2 reproductions" which is just as well because almost every part on it will need to be reproduced.

I have already got some stuff from Brendan. Keith did you notice the Ford Split case diff behind his shed with the extra tie rods on it ? [ i think they were tie rods ] He has got some good stuff up there . Nice Bloke too .

Ford parts

Hi Jim (Plushy)

Did you pick up that Radiator Expansion Tank????

It was far too expensive for shipping so I didn't bother bidding, besides I realized you were after it also.

It is one of the goodies I am looking for. I could build one but would rather have an original even if it needed repairs.

cheers

No, I didn't see it - Brendon asked me about it later on the phone as he thought it was Ford but as Tony mentioned it looks more like a Studebaker rear end.

Keith and Tony ,
after looking at the photo its definately a studebaker diff . it looked exactly like the rear one in the photo.

Mike ,
yes i did get that radiator overflow tank as i bought a cab 12 f60l of the same guy so thought it would come in handy for that . The guy had another one there that was rusted out but might be repairable as it was only the bottom section that rusted out . the sides and top looked fine .

Don't worry, it would fit - the problem is it's on my gun tractor and that's where it's staying LOL :p

As you can see the brackets on the cab 12 were different as it was mounted under the floor. Surely someone in Canada would have one, you'd think...

Mike,

If you can get a hold of an old Fuel tank from a FORD Truck.. it bears an uncanny resemblence to a Ford overflow tank but it is markedly longer.......

Then you can simply modify it to an oveflow tank!
