I just found a Shell POW Gas Can on Ebay.
No. 330208040174.
I think the gentleman who is selling it is in dreamland, his starting bid is $99.99

I know I'm accused of being too cautious about spending but $99 for a can that has been rusted, cleaned (?) and repainted (and the seller doesn't mention it) is not in my league. I certainly won't outbid anyone if they want the can....

British design.....
 

The flat top is typically British compared to the inset tops of the Canadian produced cans.

If you are specializing in gas containers from that period and this is the last one missing in your collection.... well..... maybe......... but not for sensible CMPers......
