After looking at both your posts, I would have to say that these photos were taken at A 33 Canadian Armoured Corps Training Establishment, located at Camp Borden, Ontario and not in Alberta. Besides, look at the RAM on the right in the first photo of your first post, on the RAM side it reads A 33 CAC...

i was amazed to see that photo of the Diamond T with a trailer i had not seen before, i,m not sure if you are aware but i co wrote the book on the T with Robin Pearson and am amazed at how many more photos are coming to light since it was completed even more so when photos that are as rare as this one appear i dont suppose there were any other views of it and did you find out the make of the trailer in your project

These are interesting indeed, thanks! Your third pic shows Ram tanks, of which no's 1, 2 and 4 from the left have CDP track fitted - which is peculiar.

Do you have any idea about the date these photos were taken?

Hey guys! These pics were taken in late '44 early '45,as Lloyd was barely in Europe and the war was over.
Les, I wasn't aware of that. You wouldn't believe the pictures these boys loan me to scan for my project...Truly amazing.
I'll post the other pics he gave me as well, in case there is something of interest here.

The A 19 RCASC on the side of the jeep bonnet puts this (these photos) in Camp Borden also. A 19 Canadian Army Service Corps Training Centre was located at Camp Borden.

Check the stance of the chap in the dark overalls at the back of that interesting trailer, looks like he's on his mobile phone. No-one would have thought 64 years ago that we all stand like that these days.

Interesting to see that Ram tanks in Canada were fitted with Canadian Dry Pin tracks, most likely as replacements after the rubber-faced tracks wore out.

Hey Rick, that is quite funny isn't it! I thought the same thing when I first saw it, and each time I've looked at it since, I feel the need to look for a cell phone!I then remember the picture was taken over 60 years ago!

Been having a chase up on that semi trailer but at the moment can only find this comparison a 25 ton T60E3 that was used with the prototype Sterling T28E2 tractor. There are similarities but quite a lot of detail differences is it possible that there is some connection here

The Mystery trailer has wheels outside the width of the trailer and so (seems to have) a wider track than the DT tractor. - Could they/it be a local purchase/requisition for use at the training school only?
