Aussie chev truck
I saw a chev truck with the remains of camo paint that I need to identify. The cab has holden body stamps on it, and one plate reads; chev cab. mk1. full door cab.
The grill is a farmers mod, has a 216 motor, 3 pressed lines across the roof, 2 across the top of the doors, a complete dropside wood tray and headlight mounted off the bonnet front, the side windows are very round. Any ideas on a year or model. |

photos would help
two stripes on the door would indicate roughly 1935 to 1939 model in 1940 they went to single stripe mostly holden body stamps means it is australian bodied does it look like this one at all ? this one is a 1938 model with an american body .aussie ones do have three roof pressings |

re chev truck
Front fenders are the same, cab very different. This truck has the old style round instruments in the centre of the dash.

1934 model is about the earliest with the twin door rib
1933 had 3 ribs does it look like any of these ? these are all american models but are similar to look at first is a 34 second a 36 and third a 37 holden bodied would suggest 36 to 38 having the triple roof pressing as mike has stated |

cab common through 36 to 38 This one is a 38 .This model is unique in its grille cowling with the forward protrusion near the top on the sides |
