Darwin C15A Blitz !
1 Attachment(s)
I recently made contact with an old primary school friend .. his family emigrated to Canada in the late 1960's . He now lives near Vancouver .
He emailed this pic of his dad , taken near Darwin, N.T. in the late 1950's . Looks like a C15A .My school friend said they used to move house often and he recalls this truck loaded up with their possesions . Can anyone work out the wheels ? Mike |
I could easly be wrong but they look like Bedford to me.

Mike,
The wheels are common English pattern (Bedford etc) 20" The great majority of 3 ton blitz's used on the road after the war were retrofitted with 7,50X20 duals to take advantage of the load carrying regulations (most farmers etc just kept the singles but those with wheat bins going to the silos also had duals) If anyone wants a full set of 7.50X20 duals for a blitz I have them.
