Yep;

Its a heavy duty trailer for transporting Power Transformers around on. Purpose built obviously.

No its not military, Its an (SA) electricity commission trailer or similar.

I have a 6x4 trailer which looks very 'military' but follows the same lineage as the transformer trailer. If you put it beside a 1940's Geelong Jeep trailer they are very similar... sometimes things look military and they are not.
