Canadian Pouch-WWI?

4 Attachment(s)
Greetings,
I have been trying to identify a little leather pouch without much luck. It has a stamped "1917" date on the back and a Canadian's name written on the inside flap. Does anyone recognize what it is? Is it a military piece? No Broad Arrow mark that I can find.
Thank you,

It is a Pattern '03 Officer's Webley Ammunition pouch.

While neither Common nor Scarce, there a few about. See Here for an example.

Hi, it looks very much like a pistol ammunition pouch, with a belt (Sam Browne) loop at back. Try looking at Webley accoutrements.
Cheers,
Dave
