RAF 8-cwt
 

Stubmbled across those photos on the G503 album (http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/). It shows a CMP 8-cwt in use as a RAF aircraft crew hack during filming? re-enactment? in the UK?

Whose truck is it?

It's a Cab 11 Chev by the look of it.

Could this be for the remake of the Dambusters movie?

Is it my eyes, or does the hood look like a Cab12? although no roof hatch and the small box.

It's got that vertical line about where the back of the radiator would be and the Cab 12s don't have it. The top of the hood doesn't show very good but it does seem to flatten a bit at the front. The front push bar is a Chev outfit with the rear brace.

I will make some enquiries as i recognise some of the lads in the back of the wagon, will keep you posted.
