MkII Engine colour
 

Hello Chaps!

My MkII rebuild continues. Could someone confirm that the engine colour for a Canadian MkII built 08/44 is blue/grey? I believe this is correct and the block certainly has traces of what appears to be this colour, a midnight blue shade. It is difficult to be sure as the engine has been repainted with the rebuild duck egg blue shade. It would be of great help if anyone has any photos of a NOS engine, or one that they know to be original as this would help with the colours of ancillaries as well.
I've just had some gucci new stainless steel exhausts made for it and these we will fit shortly. Ref. my previous posting the ignition switch panel has now given up the ghost and is completely buggered, so if anyone can help here again I would be very grateful.
