Setting up the govenor

Hi everyone

Ive finally gotten my Carrier to run the best it has ever run. However I think the govenor settings have been changed as the locking wire is gone. Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to setup this part. I suppose I could just try changing the adjusters around until I find it runs the best.

Anyhelp is much appreciated.

Providing the engine is not surging on tick over, the only thing you need to worry about is making sure the govenor is set high enough to let you power round corners.

There are instructions on how to adjust the settings in the Mk1 Hand Book.

Thanks for "all" the replies. I should have expected that kind of answer from you guys.

Right now the carrier drives like a race horse. I just wasn't sure if there was a way to tell where the calibrated setting should be and if I could adjust it to get even more out of the engine.
