More Lybian Desert Wrecks

Further to Kuno's postings with desert wreck, I was sent a link by Sander D. with more desert wreck photos. I recognise some of them, but I'm sure Kuno will be able to identify them all for us.

Enjoy!

Lrdg

Those LRDG trucks look like they are sand blasted and ready for painting!

Amazing.

I wonder if they could be recovered and whether the local authorities would allow it?

It would be really sad, if somebody would remove the wrecks. This trucks are still there as they were left on 31 January 1941 and this is -as far as I know- the one and only "undisturbed" battlesite of the whole desert war of WW2!

The value of these wrecks is only that they are still there; if you need one for renovation you may better take an old truck from a scrapeyard.
