Found Cdn M133 Kitchen truck

Would like any and all (pic) info on the M133 Kitchen truck
This truck will end up as a canteen truck (pancake breakfast etc.) at
the Canadian military educational centre, chilliwack BC
Check the website, my goal is to have every collector donate at least one item big or small regardless how far away you are.
and a companion truck is the M135 to haul the pancake mix.
both trucks canadian military with winches.

Kitchen Truck

I believe the Field Kitchen was actually mounted on the M135CDN. This would be a rare varient to own as I think only the CFB Petawawa Museum has one and it is sitting on outdoor display rusting away. Here is a photograph from my collection when they were still in use.

Kithen truck

Thanks for the picture Ed, The M133 data plate is stamped Kitchen truck.
Soon as we get legal ownership, we can plan the retrievel, need to do this before they are buried under 10ft of snow. this not as easy as it may sound, trees to cut, excavator to turn the trucks etc. They are in amazingly good shape. dennis :thup2:

M133 was actually the designator for the cab and chassis of the M135 cargo and some other variants. Perhaps these were supplied as cab chassis only by GM, and the kitchen body was added later, although quite frankly the body does not appear to be different from the std M135 with the exception of some add ons.

kitchen truck

Looking at the 2 trucks, there is no visible difference to my eye.
It is the data plates, that separate the M133 kitchen sister truck to the m135
When finished as a usable pancake etc truck I hope it will look like the picture supplied. When I or the museum find any differences I will post here.

I will feel better and know more when I get them from north of Hazelton
to my place in smithers. As the scrap dealer said possession is 9 points of the law. de3nnis thanks for the replies. :no4: :no4:
