David,

Thanks to you and the gang for putting on a really good show. It was a nice venue with lots of MVs, plenty of stuff to buy, and the best hamburger that I have had in a long time!

It was also nice to see Peter Simundson before he goes into hibernation for the winter.

Missed the show

Hi David,

Unfortunately I was installing a used transaxle in my wife's mini van (Montana). It was one hell of a job. I was at it for 12 hours! I can see why a garage wanted $700 to change it. I would have rather been at the show!!!http://bestsmileys.com/frustrated/4.gif

I must agree with Stewart that it was a good show. Thanks to Tom and David and anyone else involved in making it happen. Robin made a supreme effort to bring out all that British stuff which helped make the show more interesting for everyone. I hope the vendors sold enough to make it worth while to repeat next year.
Cheers,
Barry

Very good show. I managed to make it there for a couple of hours, could have stayed longer but I think I spent enough. Brian

IM glad I decided to go. It was a toss up between a model contest in London or this and I naturally chose the OMVA show. Without any sleep for the pervious 24hrs I hopped in the car at 5am and took off for Kingston. Only fell asleep once on the way down (thankfully in a parking lot) I had a great time and thought the venue was really nice.

My only problem was in finding the correct white building but I did see a good chunk of the base. I also took in the Sigs museum and enjoyed it. Whlie driving home I wish I had bought some more items I had mulled over all day. Oh well, possibly at the next show.

Thanks for the work that goes into these.
