service instruction book

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where O.P. on the service instruction book of an ARMOURED O.P. MARK III is standing for ? cheers |
Hi Herman,
I think the OP stands for Observation Post. Brian |
Going from memory ( I have pictures somewhere) the OP variant had a viewing opening where the gun normally mounts that was bigger than the normal gun port and the carrier had equipment to lay phonelines and also had a number of radios installed.
