Some years ago I called in to Pounds ship yard down at Portsea and took quite a lot of pics of the amour laying around down there carriers and tanks etc, I will post a few,if there is any interest I have plenty more to see,

....and all on my harddrive now too. The unknown picture you posted early on may be a Cromwell hull but I'm not 100% sure. :cheers: Oh, T-34's. In 1988 where would they have come from? Surely that was too early for eastern bloc equipment? |

Thanks for the comments,My main idea was to generate some interest with some of our older members,who like myself were there when all of this was happening in the hope that they may have taken photos of what they saw to allow our younger members an insight to the past,we are all guilty at some time of thinking nothing will change and it will all be there forever so all we can ask is for people to dig out there pics and chare them with us.
