Carrier Questions
 

I have a question about my instrument panel. My guess is that it's not original since it looks nothing like the one pictured in the manual. It's also welded to the "new" armour so that's another hint. Does anyone have anything similar? My U.C. is a No2 Mk2* built in May '44.

Another question I have is where do I find the actual number that the carrier was assigned by the Canadian miltary (CT ???). It's somewhere on the front armour plate I think, but part of mine has been cut off. A close-up picture of someone's would be great.

I also included a picture of an interesting book. The original Instruction Book written by Ford dated 1941. It has some good info on how to drive the carrier and general maintenance stuff. A few greasy fingerprints here and there as well.

Hi, I think your carrier should have this type of dash, i have attached a picture, also a pic of where the number is.

A few more pics of your carrier would be great.

Oh, Before the replies start this pic of the dash isn't my carrier, some numpty has assembled the shutters wrong..............this carrier is at a museum in Norfolk England. Even the experts get it wrong. :nono:
