trying to find a C15 or F15 4x2 truck

I am trying to find a C15 or F15 4x2 truck on behalf of a museum in the Czech republic. Czechoslovak forces used these in the middle east, but the museum has been unable to find a 4x2 version in Europe.
The attached photo I am told is of a Cab 12. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

G'Day Mark, and welcome to the MLU forum. You'll find lots of information and a mob of excellent enthusiasts from around the world.
The photo is of an F15 2WD 12 cab. I have one the same including the same tray (back) & (as far as I know) mine is the only example of this on this forum.
One thing is for sure, if any others exist then someone on this forum will know of it! Good luck with your search. What is your location?

Hi Mark

I guess you'll check regularly out this section. A few weeks ago there was a nice F15 with trailer for sale. However, the ad has gone...

greetings
Chris

F15/c15

Hello Howard, thanks for the info. As a matter of interest how can one differentiate between F15 and C15? My location is near Prague in the Czech republic, ex-Melbourne.
Hello Chris, thanks for the pointer to the ad section. I will keep looking.

The easiest way in this case is the fords have the square louvred air vents either side of the grille while chevs have round air vents

Also..

...Fords had a single leaf radiator guard support and Chevrolets two, front and back of the bumper. That's how I go.

round vents and brush guard either side of the bumper bar

Another ID point is the front hub. Fords have a slimmer spindle centre, while the Chevs have a bolted on "Tommy Helmet" cap with very pronounced supporting webs. The same Chev front axle/hubs were also used on the Chev 1533 trucks of the LRDG. Any Czech usage of those vehicles?

Hallo Tony,

think Czechoslovak forces in Middle East 1941-1942 have in service this CMP C or F15 4x2, exist few pictures from this time, cab.11, 12or with out cab roof!
1944-1945 was Czechoslovak independent admoured brigade group supplyed from 1st Canadian army vehicles, uniforms, equipment etc.
But i dont know how many CMP was send to Czech forces, on pictures from end of war, is many CMP all type.
And after war by UNNRA projet help of Europe again many CMP go to Czechoslovakia.

Tomas
