Wiring Loom Identification

Hi Everyone

We have been going through all our bits and pieces as we get ready for Corowa, and have come across what looks like a new old stock wiring loom for a Blitz

It has the number C110
14401C Stamped into a small steel plate.
There are 2 small light sockets
3 switch's of a 3 pol nature, so on off on I guess
1 swith 2 pole so on/off

I guess the C stands for Chev, as for the rest I have no idea, can anyone ID it for me.

Hi Max

Any idea what model?? We are working on a 1943 F60L, it does not match up with what is still there, and I do not want to wreck it if its usefull to some one else.

Tim I looked at CO1Q when I should have looked at C11Q so the one you have should fit a cab 12
the parts book says ..used to serial # 21565 with old design cab
I am working on a ford cab 12 so do wrecking the loom, I will be at Corowa late in the week sometime. Any bits you need for the F60L let me know and I will see what I have

HI Max

I guess you meant do not wreck the loom, it's yours for the taking,
I am after a tail light/brake light and the rear convoy light for the F60, also after a speedo cable.
I'm not sure what to do about a headlight, as the reading's say that this model should only have one headlight, I think for safety two would be better, so I guess I'm after a headlight glass/ unit as well.

Tim,

I would have a Ford light if you want it, (i.e. lens & back-shell which needs re-silvering on the reflector) from an F30 1942. I can bring that to Corowa.

It will cost you a ride in a truck/tank/bren.

Ian.

Tim,

Hi Ian & Max

Great thank you to both of you, Ian a ride on the truck and a drive of a bren carrier is easily organised.

Max I will give you a call tomorrow, Kerang is a little out of the way, we are somewhat more than a northern surburb of melbourne. We are 3 hours north up near Swanhill, although it would be great if you dropped in.

Tim

:)

:)

It's only a slight detour from Yass to Corowa, turning a 4 hour trip into about 8 hours. :yappy:

Tim I have found a tail light and diff light from a chev, do you have a mounting bracket for the diff light. I also have a second hand switch for the diff light and I found the mounting for the diff light switch, when you are making a new mount for the switch Ian needs one as well
Max

Mount

Hi Max

Yes I have got the mount for the diff light, I can have a mount made for Ian for the switch.
If you can get then down next week I will be able to take it back to Corowa.

We have been working on the wiring today, getting there slowly.

Tail lights

Hi Max

The parcel arrived today and if 'business' does not get in the way tomorrow they should be wired up and ready to go, I have had another switch mount made for Ian

Everyday that we have started and run the truck it is sounding and running better.
