Generator wiring

Hi guys. Another question, this time on wiring the generator.

Looking at the wiring diagram for the carrier, it shows both a Generator Filter Unit and a Generator Suppressor Microfarad. I have neither of these. Should I just tape off the two wires that would go to them and hook up the wires for the ammeter and the switchboard?

I think you mean a capacitor . A microfarad is a unit of measurement eg .000001 of a farad = one millionth of a farad . It's how thay measure the size ..just like gallons etc. The filter unit is probably for radio supression ..not needed for normal driving around.
