I have just bought a chev tipper in a used condition. What I need to know is what the weight of the truck is? thanking you

Book answer for the Canadian version which has several differences from the Australian version (single rear wheels, among others).
Empty 10060 pounds
Gross 16780 pounds

c30 cab chassis is about 2.7 ton plus roughly 1-1.5 ton for tray body and rams
around 4 ton at a guess ??

The Canadian version is listed as a 3 tonner.
I suspect that mine is lighter than standard due to rusting (as well as some parts removed to let the department of Veteran's Affairs (ab)use it as a snow plow).
