Track Link Picture Needed

Does anyone have a nice clear square on picture of a single carrier track link? I need a front, back, and side view of the track link. I would like to make a molding master to make accurate 1/6th scale tracks. I thank you in advance... Harold

Track link

Try a search for AutoCad model of carrier track in the carrier forum . It may help.

I have no idea what an auto cad is. Anytime I have downloaded autocad items I can't open them and when I installed an auto cad viewer all I get is mess of overlapping lines

No pictures in response to your query so far, so I took a few pics of a two-link piece of Australian MG Carrier track I have. They may not be exactly the same as English carrier track (eg. the width inside the horns is a shade wider on Oz track I think?) but I believe they are pretty close, for what it's worth, and for a 1/6 model I can't see any problem. I hope it may help you.

Steve.

A few more. The edge of ruler was held adjacent to the edge of the track, and as level as possible.

Thank you Snowy for those great pics and as you said for 1/6th they should do just fine. I doubt any 1/6th modeler would know the difference between Aussie tracks, Brit tracks, or even Canadian tracks. Again thank you very much for these excellent pics it is greatly appreciated.......... Harold
