Could be, the pictures reminded me of the two Holmes Wreckers sets on the back of Mercedes chassis in India back in 2007. More likely, with many still running around, some could have come from CMPs, with others being supplied by Holmes?

C15TA armoured trucks, actually. They have the side armour built-up to increase protection. Most likely ex-British Army stocks?

Surprise the local 4x4 enthusiasts haven't taken the portal axles off that Volvo!

They are Holmes wreckers. The same as Diamond T's.
I think the CMP ones are smaller, hand cranked and the booms are different.

None of the wreckers have got there brace legs on the sides. The hooks are still there for the chains. They must not do a lot of side recoveries.
It would save them a lot of weight because those legs are ridiculously heavy.
Note the three are hooked up! Cool!

Does the logging truck cab have round corners on the front panal? It just doesn't look right to me.
Cheers
Jeff
