Fantastic! Great to see a former F15A driver in charge of so much metal. :thup2: :thup2:

Nice pic

Hello Mat,

As you know that's not the first time 169-129 has been in a creek. Good to see her go through on her tracks instead of on her side...

Cheers

You look like you've lost weight Max!

Must be all that excitement.

It looks like so much fun it should be illegal. :smoker: :thup2: :thup2:

Great pictures guys, more of the Matilda please.

Feel the Force Young Luke

Well thanks Max for putting up a photo of me driving someone’s expensive piece of kit with my eyes shut. The truth is I was letting The Force guide me, no need to keep a look out. No really you get eyes and mouth full of grass and soil of the tracks driving. :D

zemsi 25-08-09 19:44

... on the REMLR forum are some more pics

I guess that is how it would have been when the Cent would have been running during my visit. A good reason to come back one day :kangaroo

Greetings from hot Switzerland (34 degrees!)
Chris

Keefy, when will you film this ripper fun for all the Canucks, Swiss, Expat Aussies ? :note: This has already been the second event without any filming documentation for my grandkids :teach: I'll be off for the weekend to see some +30 WW2 Tanks driving around Mons

Max Hedges 25-08-09 23:48

Keefy, Max was just sucking in with excitement and hasn't lost much weight, just looks like it in the photo. Just ask him what the doctor said yesterday about him.

Hi Chris
We got the cent sorted, just a fuel problem that let us down durring your visit, we look foward to your next visit.

We will take on the tracked vehicle course....Unfortunately my driving skills restricted the vehicles completing the designated course by getting bogged on the 4th crossing !!

We were looking foward to seeing the wheeled vehicles have a go as well but due to lack of time the 12km cross country course dident get started.

All you carrier guys should start planning your next group visit.

Phill
As you can see we are looking after the old girl !

Kind regards

Matt, absolutely excellent pics - love the ones of the Matilda in action. :thup2: :thup2:

Max Hedges 27-08-09 00:11

good idea Tim, you take your carrier and we will take ours then we have to have Keefy come along with his movie camera to document it all.

Max

ditto!!

A few truths. No outing with armoured vehicles is complete without getting one stuck. Likewise, they are always larger in pictures than in reality (not saying anything about anyone's girth here either). And, it never ceases to amuse and amaze me that the appearance such ferocious beasts can be tamed with the addition of a curious boy or pretty girl.

Looks like a fun day had by all... :thup2:

Just a few more, note the tow strap been tested to destruction....a man should take better care of his toys, but then that would be a little dull just having them sit around and have to clean the dust off them every time we had visitors.....

Kind Regards

Top PIc

Hey Mat,

That underside shot of Armaggeddon is the pic of the bunch. I'm surprised that you can still make out 11 BA 76 on the lower front plate.

Cheers

Phill

Max Hedges 03-09-09 23:51

Mat do you think you could email me a couple of pictures of the big splash in the dam, I like them
Max
