Hello everyone, there is a military history event at George Derby Centre on Saturday Sept 5th - this is one of the largest veterans care homes in British Columbia - 300 residents. Two military bands, Fireman's Band and many displays of militaria including vehicles from Western Command and the Canadian Military Education Centre, the 15th Field Regiment RCA is bringing the "Fat" and gun that carried Smokey Smith VC. Everyone is invited. Event will mark the 65th Anniversary of D-Day, the Scheldt and Liberation of Belgium. Address 7550 Cumberland Street, Burnaby, BC. Time 11:00 to 4:00
