Mystery truck
1 Attachment(s)
This is an extract from a photo taken around 1958 I think at a petroleum distribution facility. The truck appears to be ex-military and to have __ D O D G on the engine cover but I don't recognise those wheels which look like a Mack's to me! Any ideas please?

Model?
I guessed it said 'DODGE' but which model is it? Not seen one before. It may in fact have been a civilian wartime import. Thanks.

May be
It has been re axled or re bodied, for what ever reason. What about Diamond T?

Having had another look, The Dodge badge is usually central on the side of the hood/ bonnet, and there are too many letters, aren't there?

I think Les is correct as it being an International. Below is an AWM photo showing the big Inters' in the Northern Territory with 148 General Transport Company AIF. Note the same style wheel and bead around the wheelarch.

Thanks, Cliff. That's photo's convincing - the swage line from bonnet round the front grille matches as well. Having blown up David's picture it may not say DODG... after all (a trick of the light).
