Clearing Sale

There are things a man should keep to himself, but since there is no chance of my getting there...

It's on next Saturday Sept 26th near Moree in northern New South Wales.

Here's a link.

These are two of the nicest unrestored 'barn find' Chevs you are likely to find. The C60L has original tyres and may even be low mileage - the original dropsides are possibly still somewhere on the farm... but the C8AX with it's original Kiwi box is an absolute find!

Go on, someone... go get 'em!

damn ... There are some nice vehicles and collectables at that sale

1938 maple leaf
early 30's chev
morris commercial
federal r3 !!!
humber snipe
rushton and hornsby steam engine
All look to be in good order for their age too .Not a big rust problem in the moree area

Guilty as charged I'm afraid, but we all do it here. Is there such a thing as 'province raiding' in Canada?

Not since God invented bear traps ... we just bait them with beer now and that seems to solve the problem.

Like Keith said, go get Žem!

MLU members expect a full write up on the recovery and restoration of that C8AX on here sometime soon ;)

G'day All, Is the swb vehicle a 'Ford' as I always thought the Ford had rhomboidal shape? vents, the lwb has a 'Chev' badge and the vents are rectangular, so what is it? cheers Dennis :sheep:

The SWB is a Chev C8AX from New Zealand with an original Kiwi Box as well. Canadian built Chev's have that shape side vent while Holden built bodies had the rectangular vents. :teach:

Moree Auction

I was talking to a bloke today who is going to this auction.
He is willing to bid for anybody, but cannot help with transportation.
If this helps anyone buzz me!

We're all bursting with anticipation here! That C8AX is very special.

It snowed in Lithgow on the weekend, so I couldn't make it to Moree. The climate shock could have killed me.
