new book AEC Matador

1 Attachment(s)
A new book has just been released on one of the most popular British soft skin trucks the AEC Matador, self publish by the author Steve Richards the book follows the the Matador from design to military service and beyond in to the pw era and in to civilian employment. a second section covers the matadors big sister the 6 wheeled 0854. Most varients are covered but as the author states it is not possible to cover every single aspect of the vehicle in a book this size. The book is well illustrated throughout and Well known historian John Harrington has compiled a listing of all known survivers for the book. For details on how to obtain a copy visit the web site at www.aecmatadors.co.uk you will be well rewarded

Vintage roadscene

Steve has written a two-parter for VINTAGE ROADSCENE magazine, possibly in issues 121 and 122. I contributed in a small way to the book, but am not reviewing it as I am biased!

Welll done Steve for self-publishing!

Chris Hodge Commercials

The front cover shot and another, taken in the latter case in 1948 I think, were from the Chris Hodge Trucks collection of former COMMERCIAL MOTOR photos.

Regrettably I could not send him any Pearsons of Liverpool Matador photos but he had enough in the end.
