Parade Picture CVR(W)
4 Attachment(s)
Thought you chaps who attended the Kingston OMVA show in 08, might like to see a picture or two of the Fox from the collection i'm involved with.
Sadly, just prior to the show the vehicle suffered a mechanical hiccup and didnt make it. Thanks to Tom Lodge who provided the pictures, as I was in another vehicle! Robin |

1) you just HAVE to stop calling that pretty thing a Fox. At least here in Canada. That means something else entirely. Recall the Oz/UK Dingo issue?
2) can I get a ride in it? Maybe drive it? How about a "you drive my Fox, I drive your Fox" kind of thing? 3) how did such an aggressive vehicle ever make it's way here? Are there more or is this the only Canadian example? |

Dear Bruce,
it is what it is, it is a Fox so I will call it a Fox. I might call it a CVR(W) Fox but it is still a Fox. At the risk of starting the biggest flame war this forum has ever witnessed. . . . . . A spade is a spade old chum! There are other vehicles since WW2 that have been called a Fox! Touch it maybe, look at it sure, drive it . .. . hmm we will have to talk about that As to its provenance, it was a private import to Canada to the collection and is I think the only one here unless there are more things lurking behind closed doors that people dont know about, like the V100 Commando that i know is in Ontario but no one else has seen, get my point? So, over to you for your serve! Robin |
MMMm, I have to admit that is my favorite piece of armour. I'd love one in my shed, but alas they are very rare here as well.
