FORD F15A parts ?
 
Hi all MLUers

anyone anywhere know of the following parts anywhere ?

-looking for OEM FORD coolant overflow tank for left frame rail behind horn

-( 2 ) front ( 2 ) rear axle hub lift ends which attach to axle end caps these parts might be the same between Ford and Chev not sure ?

Terry, if yours is indeed a '42 (or '43), you won't need those hub lift ends; they didn't come in until late '43 and throughout '44/'45.

I did not know that ........... as you can tell still have a lot to learn about these CMP's :doh:

its a 1942 as it has the hole in the dahs for the civy dash board.

PS will these wheel lifts fit anyway ?, should I find a set just for sheer kicks and giggles ?

I suspect so, but have never tried... after all, back then they weren't part of the kit. It's your truck though and I reckon you can do what you like with it.

You'll need longer studs on both front and back axles to fit these. Also the front hubs need to be drilled and tapped for these larger diameter studs. Ford and Chev are the same.
