Richard,
I am in the process of having 3 Mk1 dashes made up at this time. I am borrowing the top and side panels to have them made up at the same time as well. They will have the horn button hole in them. Let me know if I can help in any way. Three were cheaper to make than one.
Doug

Richard
Your carrier, with a hull number of 10131, would not have had the horn. The giveaway is that there would have been a large 1" hole on the upper glacis plate near the driver for the conduit, and there would have been a smaller hole on the angle iron for the horn mounting. I don't have access to the manuals out here, but there was a cut off given for the horn. If I recall it was somewhere in the 3000 to 5000 range. I think they only capped the horn button hole for a while as well.

In that case Kevin, please could i borrow the one without the horn hole......there should be a massive update for you all on my build thread in the new year but until then my progress is kept under wraps hhahaha. still trying to get a speedo, i have emailled Dirk about a Mk2 one he has but has not got ack to me with shipping costs, also wanted a mk1 canadian switch pannel too.

kevin powles 18-12-09 22:38

hi. rich will make it a priority next week, would like to strip the dash and grit blast it for you, will dig out a speedo to. will try and straighten the fender and send.

RichardT10829 19-12-09 03:32

cheers buddy i have a mk2 pattern which could easily be adapted to become mk1 the only apparent difference is the mk2 rear fenders have the extra lip on the bottom edge of the fender. Dirk is a nightmare to nail down !
