Emma's bike

The old 4 wheel motor bike has been playing up for the last few months and Emma has been complaining that she needs a better one NOW as she is sick of using the farm trucks. Just to keep Emma happy her silly parents are purchasing a bike for her in what could almost be called a border raid. It looks like Emma will be heading off to Victoria (Sunday or Monday) to pick up a new honda 4 wheel bike, whilst at there she will also be doing a military vehicle inspections. To travel that far Emma will need help with the driving, so there's a bloke just north of Wagga offering to help and do a blitz study tour.

Emma has just picked up her bike :D

Tony and Emma arrived mid afternoon, I am not sure who had the biggest smile, Emma for the new bike, or Tony from crawling around under the Blitz.

The first job done this morning, before preparing the Dukw for Australia day was to pre deliver Emma's bike, the extra tray for, Loki and Molly, and punture treatment and a Scriven's Racing Sticker.

Looks like it's too late - she'll be demanding her own blitz soon, just you wait. :yappy:

Max Hedges 26-01-10 11:52

Emma

Oh NO I'll have to get her home right away to try and resuce her somehow, then she'll have to have some sort of counselling to get her right again.

Re Blitz

Max this is a snap of my boss's bike she lives in the steaper end of the valey. All her neighbours call it the pope mobile but when she rolled it she walked home with a broken wrist but most of her neighbours have been carted off to hospital in an ambulance. Tha dogs would still nead helments. :)

:doh:Max you will have to get on to the RTA and get them to put in a few more tunnels for the extra blitz arrivals. Everyone here knows you cant stop at one :D

Emma

Emma's finally home after going to pick up her bike in a border raid, thankfully I can assure everyone she doesl not need counselling as she seems very over all the stuff she saw. Emma assured me it was bribery to get her to drive the dukw as they wouldn't take her ashore until she drove the thing. Good to see some of her training has finally sunk in.

goodies

Emmas bike trip did end up being a minny border raid. There was a photo posted soft skin forum earlier with a couple of axles one being a ford and the other a chev. After some enquires from Tony he managed to secure the axles and the ford one ended up being a front axle for a o1y 1 ton ute and appears it has never been used so a good spare for us.

Good shopping Tony :thup2:

With the speed of the new bike Loki and Molly thought they better wear some proctive gear on their first ride :yappy:

If I put a canvas seat cover on the bike, will that make it green enough?

emma

Col Tigwell 30-01-10 05:07

Hard to tell from the photos but it does appear that Max you have done a good job of spoiling both Emma and the dogs.

I notice the bike has a rack for carrying the park brake brick.

Those weather covers are not as dopey as idea as you'd think. If it keeps the weight of the vehicle off the rider - that is a good idea.

A lot of kids (or all ages) in rural Canada are injured in what we call ATV accidents. A generation ago it was minibikes, before that snowmobiles, and probably bicycles and horses before that.

I like the blue saddle tank - extended range gasoline tank?
