Original Factory Jerry Can Bracket
Hi!!
It's original factory made, the jerry can bracket/holder seen in this truck, or we believe it is an Argentine army inventory? http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data...CANADIENSE.jpg Thanks in advance!! Regards Luis Mariano Paz Buenos Aires,ARGENTINA |
more likely to be a modification by the Argentine army :)

... what about the round hatch the soldier is standing in. Also an Argentinian modification?

They did put jerry can holders on CMPs but this one is quite a bit different.

Jerry Can Holder
The Jerry Can Holder is correct for late model 15cwts as is the round roof hatch. I have a November 1944 C15A with this style holder and have seen it on other late model 15cwts. It is not a modification. The rear mudflaps are different from my truck. Mine are not angled and have no additional supporting brackets. The tool box on this truck is also representative of later models.

What about a picture of the jerry can holder?
I have been looking for this for the last 3 years now. Merci à l'avance. CWO (ret'd) Gilles Aubé |
