Who speaks German?

I have a silver painted 1944 gas can. On the right side top to bottom is "bensin" in red letters. OK...that one I know.

On the lower face on a red rectangle is the following in black letters.
"MYCKET ELDFARLIGT"

What's the translation please??

could it be a dealer of fuel in europe ? maybe still to this day ? ........... here is a link to a railway tank car model that features it on the side , thats my best guess as in the German language which I speak there are no such words that mean anything, so this is my best guess :giveup

hope it helps.

It is Swedish for "Highly flammable". Bensin translates as gasoline.

In German it is Leichtentzündlich and Benzin respectively.

Well, thanks, but I live in a very small (but overpopulated) country, and there is only one other country where they partly speak Dutch, so in general the Dutch speak their foreign languages well. Like English, German, French (our direct neighbours) to a varying degree and other European languages like Spanish, depending on where the Dutch go on holiday.

I happened to have picked up a few Swedish words when visiting friends recently. That, and online translation applications help tremendously. . .

And thanks for the correction.
