G5 1939 colour ??

Does anyone have a good sample..or a colour mix for this colour .. AKA light bronze green .

My 1939 CS8 appears to have been this colour overall ... I found it under the steering column clamp ... a light grassy green .

Wish I could find a long lasting paint ... what does the army here use now ? is it epoxy stuff ?

Light Green G5. A light green on a 1939 vintage vehicle has been examined which is probably this colour. An actual undamaged sample has yet to be examined.

Mix: Provisionally Revell 361 only is nearest.

In use: 1939 – 41 usually as the light shade in M.T.P.20 schemes with G3.

Description: A light-medium grass green.

I noticed that Mike Starmer now has the three G3 to 5 greens as non-BSC 1930 colours ..previously he had them as BSC colours ...

I have found that a simple black and yellow mix is a good starting point

Personally, I don't like the pre -war deep bronze grren..its a far too black shade
