Repair Manuals 1st to 3rd line M548
 
I am in the process of purchasing a M548 Carrier Cargo and I am looking for a CFTO or repair manual 1st to 3rd line repair. I will take this either in book form or computer disc. I have access to a high speed, double sided, hole puncher printer so making a book is no problem. I have done this for a couple of trucks.
I know this is not the normal carrier on this site but it is a carrier. I have 2 possible choices but neede the books to determine the repairs required and as such how much will I pay for it.
I will also be looking for major parts such as the engine and transmission etc.

I think I have manuals at home for these, but I won't be back there for another 2 months.

I believe Prefair had M113A2 powerpacks for sale a while ago, which can be adapted to the M548. Not identical, but adaptable.

Hi Rob Not a problem, when you return from your vacation we will talk about the CFTOs. You're right Prefair did have these, I will talk to them.
The M548 is being offered for sale by a small museum who has 5 of them, he is suppose to get back to me this week. Are you a 411? Gilles

Jean Bapiste (J-B en francais) Cote is the owner at Prefair. He is a wheeler dealer, but will appreciate talking to a knowledgible customer. With the M113s being scrapped, you are likely to find more than enough parts if you find the right suppliers.

Thanks I know JB quite well as we have often done business, 2 Iltis, 3 MLVWs and a whole stock of parts. He is a sharp dude adn has a memory like a steel trap, we have spent hours haggling over prices, he wins most times aand I win every now and then. His spare parts a getting a little thin, he has a lot of MLVW parts and some Iltis parts but little else.
