newbie questions
I am a new forum member and have a newbie question for those in Canada with some expertise in moving 15CWT CMPs. I am interested in obtaining one (my first) and have a line on one that is a considerable distance from me. Is there a trucking solution at a reasonable expense out there. I live in Eastern Ontario and I am interested in a vehicle out west. All suggestions would be welcome. Thanks-Frank

Eastern Ontario
The simple answer is any problem can be solved with money. The fact that the truck is out west and you are in the east is actually less difficult to solve. There are trucks on the Transcanada every minute of every hour.
But, the most easy answer is to rent a one way flat bed trailer from U-Haul and deal with Ryder trucks for a one way rental 3-ton straight truck with a tow package. Or, sweet talk one of Eastern Ontario's most ambitious CMP truck owners who owns a truck and trailer already... |

I sold a 1A2 box off a C8 into the Ottawa area and United Van Lines took it there for around $400. They were going from Vancouver to Ottawa and already had a couple of wrecked vehicles in the van. They had to go about 200 miles out of their way to load the box too.
