hello there jon

clive has answered the first part of your question, as for the second, the family is great....our little warrior is 2-1/2 yrs old now, and is off the growth chart....he's the size of some five year olds!! i noticed a stunning looking young lad in the book named skagfeld....you wouldn't know him..would you??

note to clive: had i known this book was covering more than second world war era motorcycles, i would have forewarded what i had on can-am's. also, i currently own a rokon, and service them for the atlantic dealer. anyhow, there seems to be a brick wall in terms of info regards the one (s) tested in quebec in the late 60's. the owner of the company at that time was orla larsen, whom i'v contacted for more info..because he would have been directly involved. jon, say hello to betty for us

Mike,
I have a Can-Am and it is missing a fair number of parts. Do you have a source out there?
C.

mike mckinley 29-04-10 05:02

if i had a list of what you need i could ask around. there are a few people who have parts. luckily, many of the civi parts are the same. the only thing i have is an nos military front fender, and one headlight post. i had planned on building one, but that plan got up and left. instead i restored a 74 can-am mx1, which i sold some time ago.

I may need that fender - can't remember if it is the front or back that is missing and the bike isn't at hand.

Can-Am

Clive you need both fenders.....

...and a wiring harness, and a headlight, and handgrips, etc, etc.....

Don
