Adame,

Make sure when you are done with the rebuild of the tanks, you use aircraft "Slooshing Compond" to do the final seal. This also prevents the tanks from rusting from the inside out. Works great lasts for years.

I had mine rebuilt but they were for MK1 tanks. The Mk1 gauge was a dipstick (no thats not the poor soldier) but a purpose built thingy that was well a dipstick.

No picture.....

Hi Adam

Not sure what your sending unit looks like......but.... Princess auto sells a repro which has the standard 5 bolt pattern and fits a CMP...... float is adjustable for depth of tank..... sells for $20 regularly comes on sale at half price........ and they have a good return policy if it does not fit.....hahaha

Princess Auto fuel floats

The Princess Auto fuel floats only work with their matching fuel gauge since they use a unique resistance range that is not common to any military fuel tank floats that I have ever seen. ........ Brian
